2023 - a remarkable year
In addition to an impressive string of legal victories on behalf of clients facing obscene challenges behind bars, PILP’s focus on cutting-edge work that increases access to medication for opioid use disorder (MOUD) led to a change in policy at a jail in Delaware County. PILP continues to advocate and sue on behalf of incarcerated people and their constitutional and civil rights, whether they were assaulted, sexually abused, denied religious accommodations, or subjected to punitive solitary confinement conditions or a lack of medical or mental health care. PILP has worked to stay engaged with the community and is currently working on a storytelling project to uplift our clients' voices. >> Download the full report
