Evangeline Wright
Evangeline Wright is an attorney with the Pennsylvania Institutional Law Project. Prior to joining PILP, she worked for several years at MidPenn Legal Services, providing free civil legal services for housing, consumer, and family law issues to low-income residents and domestic violence and sexual assault survivors in central Pennsylvania. She also led MidPenn’s Rural Tax Advocacy Project, litigating federal income tax controversies cases in U.S. Tax Court and promoting access to federal income tax credits for low-income and ESL individuals. She received her J.D. from the University of Iowa College of Law. She also holds a Master’s degree in sociology from the University of Iowa and a Master’s degree from the Vermont College of Fine Arts.
